The SBC-ESP32-CP is a compact programming and communication board designed for the Joy-IT SBC-ESP32-CAM. It enables convenient programming of the camera module via the integrated USB Type-C interface, eliminating the need for an additional USB-to-serial adapter. The built-in CH340C USB-to-UART converter provides a reliable connection between the computer and the ESP32-CAM.

A practical switch allows quick selection between programming mode and UART communication mode. This makes it easy to upload new software to the connected SBC-ESP32-CAM and then communicate with or monitor the module directly via the serial interface. Separate RX and TX status LEDs clearly indicate active data transmission and simplify monitoring during programming, development and troubleshooting.

The SBC-ESP32-CP is powered with 5 V via USB-C and operates with 3.3 V logic levels. Its clearly accessible connections and pin assignment tailored to the SBC-ESP32-CAM allow fast and straightforward setup.
