The COM-AM04 is a high-precision digital DC ammeter designed for accurate measurement of large currents up to 100 A DC. It is ideal for monitoring high-power DC systems, battery packs, solar installations, or laboratory test equipment where precise current tracking is essential.

In contrast to compact inline meters, the COM-AM04 uses an external shunt resistor, allowing safe and reliable current measurement without generating excessive heat inside the meter. The included shunt ensures stable and reproducible results while making installation simple and flexible.

Operating from a 4 – 30 V DC supply voltage, the device provides a measurement resolution of 0.1 A. The bright 0.56″ per digit blue LED display with a 3-digit segment layout ensures clear visibility under all lighting conditions. With a refresh rate of 500 ms and an accuracy of ±1 % + 2 digits, the COM-AM04 delivers fast, stable, and reliable readings.

For precise calibration and long-term accuracy, the module features an integrated calibration potentiometer, enabling users to fine-tune the display to the exact characteristics of the external shunt resistor.

Thanks to its robust construction, wide operating temperature range (–10 °C to +65 °C), and compact form factor (48 × 29 × 22 mm), the COM-AM04 is easy to install in front panels, control boxes, or portable measuring systems.
